CONFERENCE 4 SEASONS

The G12 International Women’s Convention was held May 4-27 in Bogotá, Colombia. It was a unique conference, since it was the first to have a duration of 4 weeks, which took us through all the seasons of the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In this inspiring convention, women learned how each season of their lives is designed by God for growth, faith, and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, drawing on the powerful verse of Psalm 1:3.
SPRING
“Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.
Isaiah 54:1
Spring reminded us of renewal and hope, teaching us that in every beginning there is an opportunity to flourish. Women discovered the importance of planting seeds of faith and faithfulness in God, trusting that He will bring abundance and growth into their lives.
It is the time of laughter, of rejoicing, of colors, of fruits and miracles, of being born to fly.
Faith changes circumstances, you are a miracle about to happen in the hands of the master, rejoice!
SUMMER
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.’
Isaiah 43:1-2
It represents heat and fullness; we were reminded us of the importance of making the most of each season. Women learned to enjoy and rest in the presence of God, strengthening their relationship with Him and allowing the Holy Spirit to enable them to fulfill His divine purpose.
It is the time of life, of resurrection, of transformation, of faithfulness, of restoration, of freedom, of priorities and answers, and of allowing the Lord to refine our character.
When there is resurrection and restoration in your life, everything in you is new!
AUTUMN
Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and reaps fruit for everlasting life, that he who sows may rejoice with him who reaps.
John 4:35
Autumn brought maturity, fruitfulness and harvest, realizing that all seasons have a purpose. Women recognized that even in times of transition and loss, God is at work in their lives, preparing for an abundant harvest of blessings.
It’s the time to reap the harvest of renewal, of fullness, of reward, of determination, of firmness, of perseverance, of the grace of the Lord, of critical decisions, of letting go and being prepared to bear fruit again.
There is a garden of fruitfulness and fullness for you!
WINTER
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth…
Genesis 8:20-22
Winter, a season of rest and reflection, taught women to trust in God’s faithfulness, even in the midst of adversity. They discovered that the Holy Spirit is present in moments of stillness and difficulty, enabling them to overcome any storm and come out stronger and brighter.
It’s the time to finalize in order to start again, time to light our lamps, time for diligence, time to be prepared and ready, time for formation, time to take shelter, time to clothe ourselves and understand that God is in control.
The brightest light comes after the darkest night!
The G12 International Women’s Convention was extraordinary, allowing every woman to understand the importance and beauty of each season of their lives.
This convention is a constant reminder that our lives are in the hands of a loving God who guides us through all seasons, nourishing us and preparing us to flourish in his perfect time.
