During a time of prayer whilst on holiday with his family in 1983, God spoke to Pastor Cesar Castellanos about raising up a church that would reach so many people that the multitude of its members would not be able to be counted.
One month later, Pastor Cesar and his wife Claudia founded International Charismatic Mission (MCI) with just 8 people in their living room, in the city of Bogota, Colombia. Today, the church has hundreds of thousands of members.
The church grew as Pastor Cesar followed the leadership vision of forming groups of 12 disciples. Rather than simply attending meetings, the large majority of church members are also cell group leaders.
Today the influence of a church with such humble beginnings is extending all over the world.
