When Cesar started to write me poems, I understood that they were not just for me – they have captured the voice of the Holy Spirit, who is speaking to all the women in the church. As women, every one of us has a mission in our lives. This month, I felt I should learn more about a woman I knew little about; her name is Jochebed and she was Moses’ mother. Through the life of her child, she reflects why it was so important that she was born at that time. She inspired me to understand one of the revelations of Paul the apostle, who teaches us in the Bible to fulfill the purpose of God in our lives. When we see a woman, numerous synonyms come to mind: beauty, harmony, etc. Our women’s conference earlier this year was a divine appointment in our relationship with our Beloved and He drew us together so that He could speak to us, His beloved ones.
The Holy Spirit has shown me that if we want His support in everything we do and if we want to live in love with the Lord, we must first present ourselves as living sacrifices to Him in prayer. Sometimes our circumstances try to make us think that humanity is simply doomed to destruction, but that is when God reveals to us that He has called us as women to determine to change the history of our nations, to be birthed into intercession, and to declare that we can change the circumstances we have long endured.
God wants to raise us up to be women who are passionate about His work and about changing history.
I would like to leave you with some tips that will help you step into His divine purpose at this time:
1. WE MUST TRUST IN GOD REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
Every woman comes face to face with her culture, but that is the point when we must remain firm in the principles our heavenly Father has taught us.
2. WHEN WE SURRENDER OUR LIVES, WE UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERCESSION.
Faith is not guided by logic or circumstances. We should learn to pray from the depths of our being, and just as Jochebed prayed with all her heart and surrendered what she loved most, we should also do the same.
3. WE NEED TO RENEW OUR MINDS.
When we enter into prayer, we die to our natural way of thinking. When we renew our minds, God can move us into a level of faith that will allow us to understand the purpose of God in our lives.
